Rustic Canyon Recreation Center

 

You will see the recreation center, the parking lot and the pool area as you enter Rustic Canyon Recreation Center and Park. Once you park, you can make your way down to the lower area where the playground and tennis courts are. You can take the gated driveway, stairs or ramp down to the lower area. I plan to be near the playground (which is also right near the tennis courts). It's not big or confusing - It's a very small park and you won't get lost. Bring a blanket to sit on the ground if you like.  

 

PARKING:

• There is free parking on the premises. It's a small park and spaces can be limited. It's okay to park right by the recreation building (as long as you are not in red zones) and along the trees at the far end. There also street parking. It's a quiet (exclusive - some nice homes over there; no, I don't live there - I wish!) so be sure you are parking where you are allowed to park if on the street.

 

If you are able to make it, I would love to see you. Babies and children are welcome, of course! There is a playground and many beautiful climbing trees. I may sometimes get names and identities mixed up - so I plan to have name tags there. Please help me out if I get befuddled with names - it's not personal   It all looks different in person vs. a Zoom screen and also when I don't see you with your "class"!  

 

I plan to make a homemade carrot cake (my favorite!!!), but I won't have drinks - BYOB (bring your own bottle of water). You are welcome to bring a picnic or do whatever makes you happy
